Privacy policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

This policy explains how Order Tiger Limited handles personal data when you use Online Ordering, the sign-in service at foodordering24.com that lets you sign in to restaurant ordering websites with your Google account. It covers the sign-in only. Your orders, and the account you hold with a restaurant, are covered by that restaurant’s own privacy policy, linked from its website.

Who we are

FoodOrdering24 and Online Ordering are operated by Order Tiger Limited. For the sign-in service we are the data controller. You can contact us at:

Order Tiger Limited
691 High Road
London N12 0DA
United Kingdom
Email: support@foodordering24.com

What we receive

When you choose “Continue with Google” on a restaurant’s website, Google shares with us:

  • your name;
  • your email address, and whether Google has verified it;
  • a Google account identifier, unique to our service;
  • your profile picture address, which we do not keep or use.

We never see your Google password. We also record technical details needed to run the service securely, such as your IP address and the time of the request.

How we use it

  • To sign you in to the restaurant website you came from, and to create your account there if you don’t have one yet, or link Google to the account you already have with the same email address.
  • To keep the service secure, for example to limit repeated attempts and to detect fraud.

We use your data because it is needed to provide the sign-in you asked for (performance of a contract) and, for security and fraud prevention, because of our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe. We do not use your Google data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

How long we keep it

While you are on your way back to the restaurant’s website, the result of your sign-in is held for at most two minutes and can be used only once. It is then deleted. The account you hold with the restaurant, including your name and email address, is kept for as long as that account exists, as described in the restaurant’s privacy policy. Security logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

Who we share it with

  • The restaurant whose website you are signing in to, which uses it to run your account and your orders.
  • Service providers who host and run the service for us, such as our hosting and data storage providers. They act only on our instructions.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we use the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The restaurant’s website sets the cookies it needs to keep you signed in; its cookie policy describes them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable form. To use any of these rights, write to support@foodordering24.com. To delete your account at a restaurant, you can also contact the restaurant.

You can stop Online Ordering using your Google account at any time in your Google Account settings, under Security › Third-party apps and services.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Children

The service is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with a new date. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
